Don’t fall for the trickery!!!
So I got on my desktop this evening after work, and voila! My mouse won’t move farther than 20px in any direction! I tried rebooting, searching Google, and other silly troubleshooting tasks. After about 10 minutes, which is when I was thinking that I need to re-install Windows 8, I realized I left my Wacom Splash tablet plugged in… guess where the pen for the tablet was?… sitting right on the tablet. Thus, my mouse wouldn’t move because it was accepting input from the tablet, which wasn’t moving.
So remember kids, don’t be dumb like me.
